Ms. Casey Bray won the A&WMA Best Young Professional Paper Award at the A&WMA 2018 Annual Conference in Hartford, CT. Her paper is titled "Assessment of important SPECIATE profiles used in EPA's Emissions Modeling Platform" - coauthored with Dr. Battye and Dr. Aneja. She also placed 3rd in the Doctoral Student Poster Competition with her poster "Ammonia Emissions from Biomass Burning in the US".

Dr. Aneja and the Air Quality Research Group attended NC Breathe 2018 in Winston-Salem, NC. Mr. Jordan Baker and Ms. Casey Bray presented their posters on their research. Congratulations to Jordan for winning the Best Student Poster for the second time.

Dr. Aneja was invited by California Air Resources Board to give a lecture titled "Is Nitrogen the Next Carbon?" at the Chair's Lecture Series in Sacramento, CA.
