The Fifth Annual MEAS Porktoberfest is scheduled to be held on 16 October 2010.
Porktoberfest is the department's yearly pig-pickin', organized and executed by your Graduate Student Association. There will be tons of fantastic food (pig and vegetarian options), drinks (beer, wine and non-alcoholic options), games and great company! New this year will be a cornhole tournament, raffles and door prizes! All are welcome so get a ticket for your family, a friend, or anyone else who likes fun, food and drinks! You can come by for an hour or stay well into the night!

Time: Noon until late
What to bring: Yourself, others, an empty stomach, and a tasty side dish or dessert for all to share.
Advance Student and Students' Guests tickets can be purchased for $10, kids under 12 are welcome for $5. Tickets for Faculty/Staff and their Guests are $15. Tickets for everyone will be $15 the day of the event, so be sure to purchase yours in the next couple weeks. Tickets can be purchased in Jordan 4133, 4147 or at MEAS GSA functions (tailgates and happy hours).
We are still in need of volunteers to help out with the event, so if you are willing to lend a hand please send an email.
