Geophysical Fluid mechanics including the motion of bodies through stratified fluids, coastal flow in lakes, the effects of stratification, topography, and bottom friction on flow in the beta plane, coastal upwelling, mixed layer dynamics and biophysical interactions, estuarine dynamics.
