Real-time air quality forecasting (AQF) has
become a common practice in recent years for local and state
air quality management agencies to inform the public the air
pollution that may pose a risk to human health and received
increasing attentions. There remain many challenges in real-time
AQF such as the accuracy of the meteorological and chemical
prediction, due largely to the uncertainties in model inputs
and treatments as well as complexities in the deployment of
the model for operational AQF.
