Transfer FAQS:

• I am already a student at NC State and I want to change my major to an MEA degree program. What should I do?
  You should schedule an appointment with the Undergraduate Advisor, Ms. Maggie Puryear. She will review your academic record and help you make an informed decision about changing your major.

• I attend a school other than NC State and I want to transfer to an MEA major at NC State. What are the admission requirements?
  Students applying to transfer into the Department of Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences must meet the following requirements:
  - 30 hours of transferable credit , including:
  - English Composition
  - 4 hours of Calculus
  - Physical Science (4 credit hours with lab)
  - GPA Requirements: 2.7+

• How do I apply to NC State?
  Application may be made on-line through the Admissions website.
  
  
• How do I know which of my courses will transfer to NC State?
  Some course equivalencies are available online. For information on courses not listed, please contact the undergraduate coordinator.
